Valuing our volunteersMulti-ethnic Diverse Group of People In Circle

Our volunteers are welcomed, trained and supported as part of the RoSA team. Volunteers provide an excellent service, both supporting clients and administration work. We value and greatly appreciate time donated to support our organisation.

We have several roles that we need your help with:

  • Face to Face Counselling Support Workers

  • Group Support Workers

  • Helpline Support Workers

  • Reception / Admin Support Workers

  • Fundraisers

No matter which role you choose to do, your contribution will enable RoSA to deliver services to clients who are trying to overcome the challenges they face in the aftermath of rape or sexual abuse.

Volunteers are recruited from within the community and are drawn from all age groups, backgrounds and origins.  Some will be ex-service users.  The majority will be studying for, or have completed, a diploma course in counselling at a college or university: those without a diploma can train as support workers.

There will be an initial interview stage followed by the specialist training programme.
